This week at ForestKids International Preschool, our students enjoyed an unforgettable experience during our Chess Festival. Chess, a game that strengthens strategy, concentration, patience, and problem-solving skills, became even more meaningful as children explored it through fun, hands-on activities.

Throughout the event, children visited different play stations, learned basic moves, joined mini matches guided by our educators, and experienced friendly competition with their classmates. Each child had the opportunity to practice planning, evaluating alternatives, and choosing the right move at the right moment.

Our Young Grandmasters in Action

The excitement on our children’s faces was the best reflection of how powerful a learning tool chess can be. Some students were introduced to chess for the very first time, while others strengthened the skills they had already begun to develop. Together, we discovered that strategy, patience, winning, and losing are all natural parts of the learning journey.
