Preschool is a child’s first experience away from their parents, making it an important step for both families and little ones. At ForestKids International Preschool, we aim to make this transition warm, safe, and enriching — a true “second home” where every child feels secure, valued, and understood.

We are committed to creating an environment where children’s rights, needs, emotions, and individuality are respected and protected.

At ForestKids International Preschool, we believe that:

• Every child has their own unique path. We respect each child’s learning pace, curiosity, and individual approach to exploring the world.

• Children learn by doing. They are encouraged to try, create, solve problems, and experience life firsthand. We trust in their natural potential.

• Every child develops in their own way. No two children draw the same picture or produce the same result — and they shouldn’t have to. For this reason, we do not use standardized evaluation scales; each child is understood within their own developmental journey.

We see children as capable, resourceful, full of potential, and deeply connected to both adults and their peers. Our educational philosophy is shaped by a strong image of the child, thoughtful and multi-role educators, an enriched learning environment, meaningful relationships, and project-based learning.

Our teachers work collaboratively with our school psychologist (Pedagogista) to design projects that reflect children’s developmental needs, interests, and curiosities.

ForestKids has a full-time Pedagogista, responsible for:

• Supporting children with self-regulation, emotional expression, empathy, peer communication, and social skills,

• Guiding teachers in observing, listening, documenting, and understanding each child’s learning style,

• Ensuring that emotional and developmental needs are met within the classroom.

Every day — in every season and every weather — we spend at least 50 minutes outdoors, with the right clothing and lots of enthusiasm.
